Governments organize campaigns to tackle climate change

There is growing recognition that global warming is not just a problem for future generations to worry about, nor is it one that city governments can solve on their own. Recognizing the importance of individual action, cities are launching community engagement campaigns, aimed at encouraging residents, businesses and community organizations to engage in climate solutions. This session explored the current state of market research that can help to inform these campaigns, innovative campaigns already underway, and areas for future opportunity.

The moderator was Roya Kazemi and speakers Mike Obrien, from Seattle, and Kazuya Naito, from Tokyo.
