Organization launches new resources for cities sustainable projects

World Bank Group President Robert Zoellick announcement today was one of the highlights of the summit. He said the institution will create credit lines to facilitate new sustainable projects in the cities. Yesterday, Zoellick and C40 Chair New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg signed a protocol of intentions in order to formalize the agreement. "We hope to open a new window of opportunities for the cities with this document”. He also mentioned that World Bank Group gives US$ 5.5 bi per year to urban development projects including large cities from C40.
