About the project

The project submitted by the city of São Paulo is entitled "Reduction of inequalities focusing on the transversalization of perspectives of territory, gender and race in public policies", developed in partnership with the technical team of the Municipal Government Secretariat (SGM). The objective is to integrate the perspective of territory, gender, and race in the formulation of disaggregated indicators to monitor and evaluate municipal public policies in existing institutional spaces. The initiative also provides for the exchange of experience among cities participating in the project to create and strengthen public policies that promote the reduction of inequalities. The proposal aims to develop a document to remember cooperation in order to benefit other Brazilian cities and the Mercocidades network.
