C40 Participation Agreement - the document enables the São Paulo City Hall to intensify its high-level technical cooperation, especially those of multilateral international nature for the benefit of the institution itself and of São Paulo citizens. There is a strong relationship between the municipal institution and other Brazilian municipalities with the C40 network since its conception, through agreements and projects aimed at addressing the climate crisis and building actions to mitigate its effects.

Global Commitment to the New Plastics Economy - To promote the implementation of ambitious policies and measurable targets to achieve and report tangible progress in one of five areas: encourage the elimination of problematic or unnecessary packaging and/or plastic products, encourage reuse models (when relevant) to reduce the need for single-use packaging and/or plastic products, encourage the use of reusable, recyclable, or compostable plastic packaging, increase collection rates, classification, reuse and recycling rates, facilitate the establishment of the necessary infrastructure and related financing mechanisms, and stimulate demand for recycled plastics.
